Garden Pots
Garden pots are used for many different applications in
the realm of plant cultivation. As simple and commonplace as they are
today, they have allowed for much advancement. For instance, they have
allowed people to move plants from one environment to another.
The Romans were the first to use garden pots to bring plants inside
during cold weather. Containers have also been used to transport plants
across great distances. Pelargonium geraniums and African violets are
a couple flowers which were brought all the way from Africa to the United
States.
Plants may be switched out of smaller garden pots into larger ones
and vice versa. They are usually divided into containers which better
fit their root systems. Sometimes younger plants may be grown together
and then separated into individual smaller containers as well.
