Gardening Tips
Gardening tips may be found to suit different plants and
garden types. Because growth and the cycle of life are a focus within
gardening, the passing of time is also an important consideration. Here
are some general tips to suit different seasons:
Spring gardening tips:
Pull weeds as soon as possible in the spring so that they do not have
time to overtake the garden.
Examine all tools and supplies at the start and make any repairs or
new purchases. This way there is no risk of being caught off guard by
an inefficient tool.
Spring often includes some unpredictable weather. For this reason, stake
to the ground plants which struggle with wind.
Summer gardening tips:
Because all risk of frost is gone by summer, it is an excellent time
to sow annuals.
Many shrubs which have flowered in the spring will benefit greatly from
being pruned.
Extra watering will be required for hot summer heat. Not enough water
will keep a plant's roots near the surface. This makes them extra prone
to heat damage. For the same reason, water deeply rather than just spritzing.
